I took this! I would have taken more, but the battery in my motherflippin’ Flip camera died right after this. Fortunately, I also had my regular camera and was able to take a bunch of photos. In case you missed them, you can see them here.

Guitar Wolf himself from last night’s show at Local 506 in Chapel Hill, NC. As you might expect, the show was face-meltingly awesome. Despite an uncooperative camera, I managed to get a few good shots before the mosh pit pushed me into the corner behind the speaker, forcing me to beat a hasty retreat to the back of the club. I have a little bit of video as well, but I haven’t had a chance to review it yet. Hopefully, the quality will be good enough so that everyone can witness the stupefying spectacle that was the human pyramid that formed on stage during their second encore. My only regret is that I never had the opportunity to see them when the original Bass Wolf was still alive.
