Inspired by recent posts by two of my favorite Tumblrs, pacalin and heyoscarwilde, I decided to post a photo of my J.R.R. Tolkien collection. How many posts does it take to officially make something a meme?

My girlfriend (and future wife) bought this animated DCU picture frame at a Warner Bros. Studio Store in 1998. In addition to being awesome, it is notable for early depictions of Green Lantern, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman in the animated style. We’ve had it kicking around for the past thirteen or so years, and it somehow made it through two moves unscathed. It remained unused during all that time…until last week. It now proudly displays a photo of our son in the Robin costume he got last year for his first birthday. And yes, I realize it looks like Kyle Rayner is threatening to punch a baby in the face.
